Denim Drive in Kitchener Waterloo

Basadi’s Denim Drive

Clean out your closet and give your old denim a second life with Basadi Sewing’s Denim Drive. Every piece will be upcycled into a new item, directly supporting a local social enterprise that employs newcomer women through the art of sewing. Drop off your donations now through July at St. Jacobs Market or their Waterloo headquarters to make a sustainable community impact.

Why donate?

Upcycling is a great way to reduce waste and prolong the life cycle of apparel. And by donating to Basadi Sewing, you’re also supporting a social enterprise dedicated to employing newcomer women through the art of sewing.

When to donate?

Now through July, but the earlier the better as we are actively working on upcycling projects!

Where to donate your denim?

Drop off your denim at either of our two Basadi Sewing locations during operational hours. Scroll below for our addresses and open hours.
